- In 2003, the ANIMALS site enjoyed more than 5 million online visitors, on par with the number of guests who visit SeaWorld Orlando each year.
- Each year, more than 12,000 animal questions - ranging from "Do dolphins sleep?" to "How many tigers are left in the wild?" - are answered via the Web site's award-winning "Ask Shamu" e-mail service.
